I have put off sending this e-mail in hopes that we would get enough "YES" votes to hold our Nha Trang Reunion this year. Sad to say we did not get enough people to show interest and, therefore, Dale Watson and I have decided to cancel the reunion and disband the Nha Trang Reunion Association. If any of you would like to take over the running of the association, please contact Dale and myself, and we will help you all we can. I have the e-mail list and Dale has the rest of what you will need to make this association a going concern. If no interest is shown, then I will delete the e-mail list and Dale will send whatever money is left in the treasury to the Viet Nam Veterans Association national office. If any of you have any contact with Carolyn Timms, please let Dale or myself know as we cannot get in touch with her since her remarriage. All of the phone numbers that Dale has in his files are either disconnected or not working. I don't know if we have a physical address for her or not. If any of you do have a good phone number or good address for Carolyn, please pass it on to Dale at email@example.com. I have enjoyed meeting and being with all of you guys and wish everyone the very best in the future.

Here are the plans for the Nha Trang Reunion 2006 to be held in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Dates: October 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th.
Please have your reservations in by September 5, 2006.
Room Description: Two (2) queen beds, queen sleeper sofa, living room, kitchen with two (2) burner range top, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, one (1) bath, one (!) television, and a private balcony.
Room Cost: $72.00 per night plus South Carolina state and local tax which is currently 10%. A resort fee of $1.50 per suite, per night is applicable and subject to tax, currently 5%. Please make your own reservation and mention that you are with the Nha Trang Reunion Association.
Our banquet will be held on Saturday night. The time to be announced. A tentative menu is as follows:
Three (3) salads: Garden Salad, Coleslaw, Pasta Salad
Cost is $25.00 per person with taxes and gratuity included. There will be a cash bar.
There will also be breakfast vouchers available at check-in at a cost of $7.00 for the breakfast buffet.
A Hospitality Suite will be ours for the duration of the reunion and we will have it stocked with our own liquor, beer and snacks.
Carolyn Timms asked if we would pass on her new address and phone number. She will be relocating to Georgia. Her new address is:

If you haven't already done so, please remit your yearly dues of $20.00 to Carolyn A.S.A.P. We will need these funds for mailings to the people who do not have e-mail addresses.
Our activities will be determined at a later date. I hear there is plenty to do and see in the Myrtle Beach area.
